Usage Monitoring Improvement

We’ve updated our dashboard with some improvements related to API usage monitoring.

Until now, it was possible to see the number of credits consumed in the last 24 hours and the last 31 days. Starting today, you can also get a month by month usage overview for the last 12 months:

The option is available for the chart displaying your global account usage on the main dashboard page, but also for usage monitoring per API key. This allows you to get a better understanding of your usage over a longer period of time.

Note that we started collecting monthly usage in April, 2021 so if you do not see data prior this date, that’s normal.

Manual IP Address Search

We’ve just deployed a new version of the dashboard that supports IP address lookup from within the dashboard. You can use this method for manual lookups instead of our API.

To access the feature, select “Search” in the left menu. Then, you can easily look up information about an IP address by filling up a field and pressing enter.

Dashboard Enhancements

Here are the enhancements that have been deployed:

API keys are now hidden by default.
You can download receipts for payments made with cards.
A few bugs affecting slow connections have been fixed.
All buttons are disabled when an action is in progress.

Usage Chart Per API Key

We allow creating multiple API keys to keep different concerns isolated (e.g. projects). Although the dashboard includes a chart that shows the cumulative usage for all API keys, some of you have expressed the need to check usage per API key.

Yesterday, we have deployed a new version of the dashboard that enables usage tracking per API key:

Open your dashboard to manage keys:
https://dashboard.ipregistry.co/keys
Click on the new button “Usage” next to the key you want.
