Quietly launched months ago, the Autonomous System (AS) data API provides businesses and developers with in-depth and actionable insights into internet routing prefix ownership and relationships.

Today, the AS data API is generally available. It grants access to extensive details such as AS allocation dates, country codes, domains, organizational names, announced prefixes, and peering relationships, including upstream and downstream connections.

The AS data API introduces three specific endpoints to facilitate efficient and flexible retrieval of AS data:

• Single ASN lookup: Retrieve detailed AS data by AS number (ASN).

• Batch AS lookup: Streamline bulk AS lookups with support for up to 16 ASN queries in a single request, using either comma-separated or JSON array input.

• Origin AS lookup: Identify the Autonomous System associated with the calling address, providing valuable context about network origins.

All official client libraries have been updated to support these new endpoints, enabling easy and quick integration. The documentation also list the new endpoints and returned data fields.
